Back to basics.

I took a bit of a hiatus, cashing out everything. I have re-deposited 40USD, and will grind 2nl for the foreseeable future. I will take a more numbers based game, and truly analyze my data when the sample size becomes large enough.

Slack.

I went on a downswing for a little while, and decided to take a little break from poker. I am still a student after all, and playing 1c/2c is not more important than my 5 courses that total approximately $2500 in tuition this term. Started playing the 45-mans and some of the 55c 500-cap tourneys. The tournament crowd is very fishy, so I imagine such things will be profitable. Besides that, there is nothing new.

Wish me luck.

Weak tight wins the money.

I managed to grind my way up to about $300, so I have decided to all but my initial stake of $100. I am withdrawing some money because I have been buying supplies for the weekly homegame I play with some guys with my college program. I paid $15 for 200 striped dice chips and 6 decks of standard Bicycle cards, and $50 for a nice wooden poker table with 10 chairs. I love kijiji for stuff like this, even if I have to make some repairs to the things I buy.

I tried 16NL for about 4000 hands with a 20ish BI bankroll, and I had been winning slightly, due to positive variance and bum-hunting. Now that my BR is down to $100, I will probably do some conservative BR management and play 2nl and 5nl again. Should be good.
